With the NFL season now here, I’m fired up to watch my Panthers. Big things are ahead for Cam and co. this season. And to my Bay Area fans, I root for the 49ers and Raiders, too, but the Panthers do come first in my heart.
I’m in a couple traditional fantasy leagues, and a few weeks ago, I thought it’d be cool to invite some fans to join me in a league. Problem with those, though, is NFL fantasy leagues are usually best with 10-12 people. I wanted to get as many people involved as possible, so that’s why I chose a Pick ‘Em league.
Essentially, we’ll all pick who we think is going to win each game every week. We’ll add up the scores every week and thanks to VIZIO, we’ll have weekly prizes.
Since we’re going to have hundreds of people in the league, and since we’re keeping it simple and not picking with a point spread, there’s a chance we’ll have some ties every week. But we can only have one (1) weekly prize winner. ESPN.com has a bunch of tiebreaking rules, which you can find here:
–If we still have a tie after going through ESPN’s tiebreaking process, we’ll randomly pick a winner for that week, from the list of those that are tied, using this tool. I’ll send an autographed pic to the players who tied for first but didn’t win the prize for the week.
Hope to see you in the league and good luck!
